Twenty years in the making! Robert Ian Winstin's landmark opus, "Oedipus
Requiem" uses the ancient Greek texts of Sophocles (in a daring adaptation
by David Perkins) instead of the standard latin 'Mass' texts.
For full choir, symphonic orchestra, three vocal soloists (Jocasta, Oedipus &
Antigone) plus a spoken "Greek Chorus."
Full color CD booklet contains the work's full libretto, history of the work (it was
awarded a Joseph Jefferson Citations Wing Award as a theatre work) and
biographies.
